This workshop underpins all the skills families need for now and the future.

A communication and assertiveness skills course tailored to help parents of disabled children identify and recognise their own personal strengths and weaknesses in communicating their needs.

Outcomes –

Parents/Carers gain knowledge, build self-confidence and supporting effective communications with professionals, in relation to their children's needs.

Empowering and enabling parents/carers to also participate in decisions relating to their children, share experiences and gain mutual support.

This workshop is delivered by Contact a Family and includes lunch.
