Toys R Us – Autism Friendly
Toys R Us are back with their Autism Friendly shopping days now we are on the run up to Christmas; their next on will be on Sunday, 15th November. Doors will open at 10:00am, there will be toys out and about for children to play with, all the tannoy and music will be turned off, all the lights turned down and all the staff are very supportive! Due to Sunday trading laws, you will not be able to purchase any toys until 11am; however they are happy for you to leave a trolley and come back and pay later if you need to do so.
This is being hosted at all the Toys R Us branches, our nearest will be the one on the Greyhound Industrial Estate in Chester (CH1 4RY, Old Seals Way)
Hospital Passport
Last year The National Autistic Society released a document called ‘My Hospital Passport' which is a perfect document to have on you if your children are being admitted to hospital for whatever reason or will be spending some time in a health environment.
