Welcome back to school after the holidays, we hope you all had a good one.
There are lots of things coming up over the next few months so make sure you check the blog often to keep updated.
Please let me know if you had a great day out or experience over the summer so we can share it with other families. We are always looking for autism friendly days out.
Cheshire West IASS (Information Advice and Support Service) need your help!!
They would like to organise a programme of events from October 2015– April 2016. Click on the link below to see some topic ideas that their team has put together but instead of them deciding which events they think you would like, they would like to ask you what you think.
The events could be full or half days and several topics could perhaps be combined together. Please could you choose 5 topics that are most important to you. Please indicate your preferred topics in the “my choice” column with a number 1 to 5, with 1 being the topic most important to you.
Please let them also know if you have any ideas for events not listed.

Autism Friendly Cinema Screenings
Once a month cinemas will show an autism friendly screening of a children’s movie; this is great for all ages and family members to attend and is targeted at those with a child with Autism.
There are no adverts before the film is shown, the lights are raised slightly and the sound is lowered; also if your child swops seats or talks during the performance then this is ok. This is also a good chance to meet other families with children with autism. This months screenings are:
Vue Cinema, Birkenhead & Cheshire Oaks will be showing Moomins on the Riviera on Sunday, 27th September at 10:00 for only £1.99 a ticket
