Good Morning Group

Good Morning Group is an important part of our day in Blue Class. The familiar schedule helps to settle us after we have made the transition into school and the routine signals that it is the start of our learning for the day. We start with our register and each child sticks their picture on the Blue Class rocket and says or signs , ' hello'. We then watch as the rocket blasts off to school for the day! Next we sing our weather song and use multi sensory props to signal each type of weather we might experience. This is lots of fun! Finally we choose the appropriate weather symbol for the day and place the day of the week on our information board. Each day of the week has a different colour in Blue Class and we like to handle sensory items in the colour of the day!
