Victorian Life in Blue Class!

This week we have been investigating Victorian times with our Year One children. It was so much fun that our Early Years children also wanted to join in too! We dressed up in Victorian clothes and we had a look at a traditional Victorian bath, mangle and scrubbing board. We pretended to wash our toys and the big iron bath proved to be so popular that all the children wanted to have a go at sitting in it! We ended the activity with a traditional Victorian afternoon tea... sampling a delicious Victoria sponge cake. We can't wait to travel back in time again next week and see what else we can find out and explore!
