What a fantastic last week of this half term we've had! Continuing our topic on animals, we have been looking at the different marks and patterns animals have and re-creating our own using paint and lots of different tools:
In English, we have really enjoyed reading 'The Gruffalo' and decided to have a Gruffalo themed party to celebrate the end of the half term. Each day we have been making food from the book and then we got to eat it all today... it was fantastic fun! We made Gruffalo crumble, scrambled snake jelly, poisonous wart grapes and roasted fox sandwiches, they were all really yummy :) :
The children in Green Class have also worked really hard this half term to fill their reward sticker chart, so we got an extra special treat this afternoon and went out on our brand new minibus to Parkgate for ice cream!
We hope you all have a fantastic half term break! :D
