Happy New Year!

In Green Class we have been welcoming in the New Year and enjoying lots of opportunities to play with our friends on the amazing new play equipment outside! We started our new topic ‘materials’ and have been exploring a range of everyday items, grouping them on how they look and feel. The children took part in a ‘materials hunt’ where we gathered a wide range of items from around school and then used hoops to produce a Venn diagram of of results, classifying the materials as: wood, glass, metal, plastic or fabric. The children are doing really well with this topic already and we are having lots of fun!
