Roman Day

To finish our History topic on The Romans we decided to have a Roman Day at Hinderton School! We all really enjoyed dressing up as Roman soldiers and emperors, and some of us even made Roman villas at home which we brought into school to display on the day... they were very impressive! The children got to take part in a day filled with Roman based activities such as making mosaics, tasting foods eaten during the period, singing songs, playing games and making Roman headdresses and shields... it really was good 'old fashioned' fun! :)
