What a fantastic first couple of weeks we have had in Green Class! We have welcomed 6 children into Key Stage 2 and we are all settling in well and enjoying making new friends! Playtime is going really well on the playground with children from Red, Green and Purple class joining in with lots of activities and games! In class we are playing well with each other and engaging in 'shared choose' time, taking turns to play with our friends in class:
Our topic this term is ‘Journeys’ so we have started to look at what a journey is and different modes of transport used for different trips. We really enjoyed using ‘Google Earth’ to explore where we live and how we travel to school each day. Our first outing on the mini bus went really well and we spotted lots of different vehicles around our local area. We loved our first French lesson and have made fantastic progress exploring and counting the numbers 0-10 in French! We also got to use our new ‘Magic Carpet’ this week and had a fantastic time making things move around the mat using the interactive software!
