Hello everyone,
Apologies for the delay in updating my blog, it has been a busy term!
Clare and I have recently returned from the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in Harrogate. It was an inspiring and information-packed couple of days and we have both come back buzzing with ideas to bring back to Hinderton School.
We will be putting together many of the things we have learned to use in future staff training events. One of the things I am most proud of at Hinderton is the priority we place on our staff receiving the very best training available. Some of you will know that we put on the SCERTS training with Emily Rubin who flew in from America for the event. We were able to put on the event in Ellesmere Port and in doing so opened up the training to many local mainstream schools. The feedback was wonderful and we are planning another event later in the year.
