Well we have had an action-packed start to our new school year at Hinderton. Classes have been a busy and colourful hive of activity and we have some wonderful pictures and examples of work to share with parents and carers at the next Parents Evening (Tuesday 11th November). Some highlights have been our Junior Chef day, the Football Festival, our wonderful Music Tuition sessions with Penny
and Blue Class's amazing (and very messy) 'Bake off'.
Our newly expanded school is looking good too, with our purpose built workstations now fully in use in Red, Green and Orange classes. We really like the new design and hope to roll these out to other classes over the next few years.
It has also been wonderful to see so many parents and carers engaging with the school, and attending our Coffee Afternoons with Karen and Clare. Karen was delighted to have such a positive response and to have such a good turnout from our new parents.
The recent rain has helped the grass grow on our newly extended school fields and we hope that we can look to take down the protective fences in the next months to allow the children to play on the big open spaces now available to us.We also hope you like our revamped Newsletter and Blogs- we will do our best to keep these up to date and use them to share some of the life of the school.
Finally,a reminder that our first Family Celebration will take place in school on Friday 24th October at 2.15pm.
