Sports Relief 2016

On Friday 18th March the children in Orange Class completed a range of activities to support 'Sports Relief'. Within Maths, the children heard information about a little girl called Jinnat who lives in Bangladesh. They looked at photographs of her home, her family, her school and her favourite toy. Some of the children shared their thoughts on how their lives compare to Jinnat's. We had the measurements of her home and we went outside on the playground to see how big her home is. The children helped to measure and draw the outline using chalk. Some of the children stood inside the chalk frame to see and feel how small her home is.
