Growing Plants.

In science this week we have been learning all about plants. We have labelled plant parts and planted our own sunflower seeds. We are doing a science experiment with two green plants. We are going to water one and put it in a light place, the other one we are going to put in a dark place and not water it. We are going to keep a diary to show what happens to the two plants.

We placed cotton wool balls into long, segmented plastic strips , watered them and then sprinkled on cress seeds. We are going to add a caterpillar face to them and will continue to water them and watch them grow into 'cress caterpillars'.
