Making Pirate Gold.

In Design Technology, the children rolled and patted a piece of modelling clay and then used a round cutter to cut out a circle to represent a coin. They then pressed an old pirate coin into the clay to make their very own 'doubloon'. It took two days for them to dry. The children painted them with gold paint so they looked like pirates gold treasure.
