In PE this term we have been accessing a circuit of small apparatus. To start the lesson we begin with our warm up exercises by singing our action song 'Everybody do this...' whilst a child stands in the middle of a circle and performs an action that the rest of us copy. We all have a turn to choose an action. We then sit down and wait our turn to access the circuit. The circuit consists of a long bench, tunnel and body board. We walk along the bench holding our arms out to help us balance and then jump off the end onto a mat. We then crawl through a tunnel before lying on our stomach on a body board using our hands to pull and our feet to push us along the floor to take a quoit from one cone to place it onto another cone. We are PE superstars!
