What a wonderful day! We started the day off by making laurel leaf headbands, making Roman coin prints, trying to find Roman coins in a 'jelly bath', making Roman coins out of clay, gluing mosaics on to a picture of a vase and colouring in an assortment of Roman themed pictures. We had a Roman feast of bread, grapes, apples and oranges and a drink of grape juice for our snack and then listened and danced to a funny Roman song on the interactive whiteboard.
