Neil Armstrong.

In history, Yellow Class have been learning all about the astronaut Neil Armstrong. As a class we watched the 1969 moon landing and then dressed up as astronauts. We then pretended to blast off in our spaceship and travel to the moon!

In art, we made a Neil Armstrong wall display by making a moon collage using lots of different textured materials and made sparkly, glittery stars for the night sky. We added Yellow Class astronauts and even put our very own 'Hinderton School' flag on the moon alongside Neil Armstrong's flag of the United States of America.
